Width & Depth Measuring
Width:
SEE GUIDE ➤The available space between the most narrow 2 points of your cabinet's opening, at the level the shelf will be installed. Between any protruding hinges, doors, face frames, etc. It is typical for the lower pullout shelf to be slightly narrow that the upper, due to the hinges usually only interfering with the bottom. If you have a Frameless Cabinet, you may need to deduct for the L Brackets used by the Base or Half Shelf Mounting Styles.
Depth:
SEE GUIDE ➤Select the Shelf Depth that would fit inside of your available cabinet interior depth, behind any doors or framing. This is the actual length of the pullout shelf. The Rear Socket Mounting Style may add 1/4" more to the Shelf Depth selection, so please allow for 1/4" Extra room when ordering to be safe.
Do not select the Depth size larger than your interior cabinet depth.
Mounting Styles
| Base Mount | Mounting on top of any existing surface, i.e. Bottom/Floor of cabinet, Full Fixed/Adjustable Shelf. |
| Half Shelf Mount | Utilizing the pesky Half Shelf in the back of the cabinet, or an existing shelf that's more than 2" shorter than the cabinet depth. |
| Side Mount | For mounting an upper shelf with no existing fixed/adjustable shelf. Would attach to the interior sidewalls using a form of Spacer or Wood Strip so the pullout can be narrow enough to slide through the opening. |
| Rear Socket Mount | Similar to the Side Mount, only the Rear of the shelf will be attached to the cabinet's back wall. |
| The Half Shelf, Side Mount, and Rear Sockets Mounting Styles all attach to the Face Frame or Sides of the cabinet on the front, the rear attachment is all that changes. | |

8 years ago we ordered sliding shelves for our old kitchen in our Florida beach house. The frames of the lower cupboards were good, but I could no longer get down to get stuff out of the shelves. We ordered many drawers to totally update the kitchen. We have loved it for all the time we had them!
On Sep 26, 2024, Hurricane Helene came through Siesta Key, FL and brought nearly 3 feet of water into our house. Needless to say, we lost most of our shelving we had bought from you.
We made up our minds that we would restore the house ourselves and that included replacing the drawers in those lower cupboards. Of course, our records were lost in the flood. I called your sales office and in a short time, someone found our order from 8 years ago! I was thrillled. We made a couple changes, like getting a slanted pullout instead of the regular shelf. We ordered the shelves and the installation was so much easier that the first time around, even though much of the hardware had to be replaced. The holes in the original shelves were still there, so a lot of time was saved. We are so happy with the new shelves!

We received the shelves - all in good condition. The hints to install helped me a little bit. I am not a finish carpenter. But, I have enough experience to figure most of this out by intuition. I will go on your site and give testimony to your product. My wife still can't believe that we didn't do this eons ago! My neighbor said that we could have had another neighbor build them for us. I told her that we couldn't even BUY the material for what you charged us to CUSTOM size these for us! We are going to showcase these shelves to some of our neighbors. And, no commission from you required ! ! ! ! It is nice to do business with someone that makes a good product. We debated a bit about paying the extra for the full-extended hardware. But, as it turns out, this would have been a waste of $ $ $.
Just to let you know, your good customer service last time (I under-ordered shelf clips) persuaded me to purchase more shelves for our kitchen. That and the fact the shelves are a boon to organization. This time I ordered 16 clips for four shelves.
The previous (12) sliding shelves that I did purchase are already installed and I will say this. They were excellent quality and delivery was on time and cost of delivery was very reasonable. I was a little leery of ordering these over the internet but I would and will recommend your company and its products to all my friends and anyone who visits the house and takes a look at the finished product. Customer service was also excellent including this very timely response.
They have made the cabinets of this 1976 kitchen look and act like it's a "modern kitchen". No more envy.........we love our "new kitchen" shelves. Will be looking at ordering more to update the rest of the kitchen cabinetry.
